Moda Bake Shop: Jewels in the Curio from Jo's Country Junction

As many of you know, Kelli and I did a lot of quilts for Moda Bake Shop several years ago.  Some of the things you likely don’t know is that Moda Bake Shop isn’t ran quite the way it used to run.  The site has been reworked and can now be found through www.modafabrics.com.  Well through all of this, Kelli and I have been overwhelmed by questions from interested parties wanting the patterns for specific quilts as some of the patterns have been “lost in the archives”.  Well, to be honest, we are wanting to avoid ...

Meet the Chefs! {Best of Moda Bake Shop Book Hop} from Little Bunny Quilts

Today is my day to shout from the rooftops all about myself and my quilt that's featured in the Best of Moda Bake Shop book!

The new version of the quilt features Painted Meadow by Robin Pickens. I used the large scale prints in the line for the center of the blocks. Each block uses two jelly roll strips in similar colors and the block design ...

American Beauty table runner fnish from Crayon Box Quilt Studio

I finally made time to quilt and bind my American Beauty table runner and now it's gracing my dining room table for the summer.
This is an old UFO that started with these patriotic Blackford's Beauty blocks for the Celebrate Red, White and Blue blog hop way back in July 2012.

Almost 8 years ago to the day I put the blocks together and added the borders for the blog hop photo shoot.  Sadly, this wasn't my oldest UFO.
I even got my little helpers to hold it for a pic.  They were soooooo little then.  Jammer ...

Castles on the Horizon quilts by others from Crayon Box Quilt Studio

I'm always thrilled when I find out that someone has liked my pattern so much that they want to make their own version.  That feeling never gets old and I love seeing all the completed quilts.  Each one is unique and beautiful.

These are the Castles on the Horizon quilts that have been made (or are in the process of being made now) that I'm aware of.  Each creator has given me permission to share the photos, either in the past or recently.

The first one was a Christmas version made by my friend Katie who blogs over ...
